You would not be able to sit or sleep, during the first few weeks of surgery, as there would be pain, and you may require help to dress. The surgeon would give you pain medication to control the pain.
After your procedure, is over, and you are on the road to recovery you could have minimal, bruising and swelling in the buttock area during recover, which may spread up to the abdominal or the thigh area, this is normal and will begin to subside after a few days or weeks.
